Key Account Manager

With continued growth and exceptional results we are seeking to recruit a Key Account Manager to join our well established Client Services Team. Our Key Accounts Team is responsible for management, retention and growth of our top accounts, typically FTSE 100 / major leading companies.
You will have experience of managing key business accounts, be a confident decision maker under pressure, and have an in-depth understanding of the online marketplace, dynamics & trends. You will be working to identify and optimize email opportunities in order to deliver increased up sell and new revenue streams.
You will also be highly organized and efficient and capable, with an ability to manage multiple situations and retain clear and account plans during the busiest of situations.
Job description: - Managing, retention and up selling existing key accounts
- Formulation of client’s email strategy and creation of account plan
- Co-ordination of regular client communications
- Presentation to director level for clients
- Day to day management of account and co-ordination of account team
- Support sales within pitch process for new prospects with long sales cycles
- Analyze and trouble shoot changes in performance to ensure maximum account retention
- Reporting account KPI’s and ability to drive ideas and programs to meet and exceed clients targets and objectives
- Ensure good general channels of communication between all relevant prospects including end client and agencies
- Meet and exceed all relevant quarterly revenue targets
- Financial reporting on account performance
Skills: - You have worked in an online environment with a background in technology or marketing, either from a client side role or in a large agency. Strong experience in online marketing, preferably with email marketing is required.
- Approx. 3 - 5 years of experience in Account Management
- Proven success in account relationship management; exceeding goals in a fast moving industry
- Ability to deal with clients at all levels
- Ability to display a clear understanding of online marketing
- Excellent communication skills able to influence on a senior level combined with excellent pitch presentation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic aptitude
- Strong research skills
